Disney Vinylmation Star Wars Boba Fett Concept Series 4 Figure

Disney Vinylmation Star Wars Boba Fett Concept Figure Review

The Disney Vinylmation Star Wars Boba Fett Concept Series 4 Figure is arguably by far the most whimsical version of the bounty hunter prototype to date. Released in 2014, exactly six years after the product line was first announced, the white Boba Fett concept Vinylmation was sealed as a “boxtopper” along with a blind boxed series 4 figure which also marked the first time this was done within the Star Wars Theme. It was initially sold at Disney parks and the online Disney store, and the boxtopper by itself has since appeared in the secondary market.

True to the product’s standard form, Boba Fett was given external ears despite not having any. Attention to detail is evident in the printing which appears on all four sides including an antenna print on the right ear, the red and blue colored triangles above the helmet visor, and even on the jet pack. Curiously, dent detail is also present on the helmet which was not the case when the original white Boba Fett first appeared in the 1978 screen test.
