Prototype Boba Fett Limited Edition Lithograph

Prototype Boba Fett Limited Edition Lithograph Review

Hasbro launched their Star Wars Black Series in Mexico on October 17, 2014 with Walmart as their exclusive distributor. The event included a highly limited Prototype Boba Fett lithograph by acclaimed artist and illustrator Lucas Marangon, with only 1,500 in existence. Each lithograph came in a black envelope embossed with the Star Wars logo.

It may be worth noting that the prototype Boba Fett depicted in the lithograph wields the appropriate prototype rifle and wears no Wookiee braids, making it more faithful to the bounty hunter’s 1978 screen test appearance than the actual action figure it eventually promotes. His cape hangs off the right shoulder instead of the usual left side but ultimately works well as an overall composition.

An interview with Lucas Marangon reveals some additional insight, details, as well as never before seen drafts of this lithograph.
