Super Shogun Star Wars Boba Fett Prototype Version 24″ Action Figure

Super Shogun Boba Fett Prototype Review

Kids who grew up in the 1970’s and 1980’s have most likely been exposed to both Star Wars and giant Japanese robots. This makes the limited edition Super Shogun Boba Fett Prototype the perfect mashup of the two worlds. Standing at an imposing 24 inches tall, this unique version of white Boba Fett is as heavy on nostalgia as it is on features, boasting a rotating head, movable rangefinder, wheeled feet, and spring-loaded missiles that fire from both a wrist launcher and jetpack. According to the official Funko website, metallic foil stickers are also included to offer the option of customizing the torso with Boba Fett’s name in either English or Japanese.

The Super Shogun Boba Fett Prototype figure is not only period-accurate in its appearance, but also in its construction. The same techniques used by Japanese toy manufacturers from the 70’s are used, featuring durable blow-molded polyethylene and a vinyl helmet. Perhaps best of all, no batteries are required.
